Chalet Sternschnuppe - Bettmeralp

This beautiful and spacious chalet is located on a central location on the Bettmeralp, at just a few meters from the ski slopes and the ''Schräglift '' which brings you right on the central shopping street of the Bettmeralp.

The chalet consists of two apartments, but with an inside staircase, so it could easily be used as one entire chalet too. The upper apartment is a duplex apartment and consists of an entrance hall with ski storage and a guest toilet, a spacious living area of over 80m2 (with a wood burning fire place) which includes an open space kitchen, a dining area, a seating area and a tv room. There are also two spacious terraces on this floor, one on the southern side and one on the western side.

The upper floor is where the 4 bedrooms are located of the duplex apartment. Besides the 3 bedrooms, there is a landing area which is being used as secondary living/tv-room, 2 bathrooms and a front side balcony.

The lower apartment is located on the ground floor (which is one floor below the backside street level) and is composed by an entrance, a living room with fireplace and open-planned kitchen, a double bedroom, a small bedroom for children and a toilet.

Furthermore there is a sauna/laundry room with full bathroom which is accessible by both the lower as the upper apartment.

Surrounding Area Chalet Sternschnuppe - Bettmeralp

Chalet Sternschnuppe is situated on the Bettmeralp, in the Aletsch Arena, a beautiful UNESCO heritage ski resort. The largest glacier of the Alps, the Aletsch Glacier, is at a stone's throw from this apartment and can be seen by the panoramic skiing route which leaves from the 3.000 meter Eggishorn (the highest mountain of the Aletsch Arena).

The chalet can only be reached by the cable car, which means that you park your car in the valley. Thanks to this, the Aletsch Arena is one of the only car-free skiing resorts in Switzerland. Zermatt is only a 1 hour drive from the valley car-park, whereas Lugano, Milano and Geneva can be reached in just over 2 hours.
